My recommendation for a good family holiday destination in Asia - Perth, Austraila

Perth, Australia is highly recommended for a Self Drive Holiday!

Went on a 8-day self-drive holiday with my husband and my then 5-year old son in March 2005! We could stop wherever we want. There were no restrictions! It would be good if we had 10 days!

We drove from Perth all the way to Albany which is at the southern most tip. We saw 2 oceans, the Indian ocean and Southern ocean. The Indian ocean is so vast and magnificent.

Some highlights of my holiday in Perth, Australia

We stopped at a new playground everyday. We must have covered at least 8 playgrounds during the trip!

The apple and orange orchards, the vineyards, lavender farms, olive farms, sunflower farms, blueberry farms, animal farms, wildlife parks are interesting for city dwellers! My son got to feed goats, wallabies and cows!

There were Blow Holes, gaps and natural bridge, all created by the forces of nature!

It was great fun climbing the Karri trees are Pemberton, Karri Country! These trees are one of the tallest hardwood trees in the world at 90 metres tall! There are viewing galleries at the top of the tree and you get an immense sense of achievement when you made it to the top!

Recommended accomodation in Perth..

The Edge of the Forest Motel at Margaret River is clean and highly recommended! Rooms come with a fully furnished kitchen and we could prepare our own meals!
