Australia's biggest attraction is its natural beauty. Perth is the capital of Western Australia and she boasts of her fascinating and incredible natural landforms and beautiful National Parks.
I don't have itchy feet, but reckon that my children need a break after a stressful school term, I decided to take them on an overseas tour. So, Along with my husband and and three restless kids, we set off for the outback.
Since the utimate objective of this holiday is to relax, we decided to take things slow, ( the aussie lifestyle). In order to get the most from our travel, we embarked on a self-drive journey from Perth to the South-West. Hiring a MPV for my family was not a problem, in fact, we were spoit for choices. The vehicles were well-maintained and the rates were reasonable.
We were glad that we opted for a self-drive holiday in Perth. It offered a stress-free alternative to having a rigid and tight-planned itinerary. An experienced driver who had driven long distance overseas, my husband took the task well. Armed with maps and with the help of conspicious and informative road signs, we often arrived at our destination as planned. Self-drive allowed us access to the most remot region, gave us maximum of freedom with the minium of hassle. With a well planned route and a reasonable distance to cover each day, we were able to linger where the mood takes us as we enjoyed the journey.
