And after that, indulge in a Thai massage, before you tuck into some spicy Thai food.

Bangkok Shopping at Bobe Market

This is not a touristy shopping street. However, it’s worth a visit since it’s just 15 minutes drive east of Khaosan Road, and it near to Hua Lamphong Train Station.

As it’s not a touristy spot, Bobe Market offers you a peek into the authentic Thai life, and a few glimpses into old Bangkok. Usually, Thai merchants come here early in the morning to sell their goods in bulk. Clothes and other necessities are sold wholesale by in bulk.

Unlike the other shopping streets, this place is great for picking up no-frills clothes by the dozens (great for gifts for all those cousins and aunties).

Part of the market is located inside a high-rised air conditioned building. Good if you’ve been in the sun for too long.

Shops here open early and close only late at night. But the fruit and vegetable sellers start really early in the morning and close for the day in the afternoon.
