Bangkok Good Eats
Bangkok Good Eats by Loction
So for cheap and good food, head down to Banglamphu, a popular haunt for budget backpackers in this city. Cheap eateries and road side stalls are what you’ll find here.
I love Chinatowns everywhere, whether in Kuala Lumpur, Singapore to even America. All Chinatowns are a feast for the eyes and nose. Come down to Bangkok’s Chinatown and for great Chinese food. And how do I know which stall serves the best? Just look for the one crowded with Chinese diners!
Sometimes my gut takes a while to get used to the local fare. This is the time you want some ‘home food’. Europeans will appreciate the Italian and French gourmet on Sukhumvit, while Middle Eastern visitors can go to Soi Nana.

Pierside Seafood Restaurant
This seafood restaurant is adjacent to the Chaopraya River, inside the River City Shopping Center. I hear it's not the cheapest food in town but the whole dining experience is worth every baht. I must remember to make reservations in advance if I ever drop by; the waiting list is notorious.
Le Dalat
This is a cool Vietnamese restaurant! It’s like dining in a wooden house. Pleasant ambiance and usually filled with expats.
Tandoor
I love Indian food so much I married an Indian! For fantastic Northern Indian cuisine, go to the Holiday Inn Crowne Plaza Hotel on Silom Road. This place is also popular with the local Indian community.
Delaneys
For me, holidays are one of the best times to do things differently. Andthis can mean 'beef stew with a mug of Guiness' at this restaurant, often populated with expats. It’s at Soi Convent, just off Silom.
