Q-Bar:
Sukhumvit in-between Soi 5 and Soi 7. Nearest BTS: Nana.
600/400 baht cover charge weekends/weekdays, with two free drinks. Open: 20.00 to 01.00, nightly.
Astra:
Nearest MRT station: Phra Ram 9, then a taxi ride. Closed Sundays, cover charge: 100 baht usually. Open: 21.00 to 02.00, except Mondays.
CM2:
At the bastement of Novotel in Siam. Nearest BTS station: Siam. Cover charge 300 baht, with free drink. Open: 18.30 to 02.00, nightly.
The Bar
Nearest station: Sala Daeng. The Bar joins with Colonnade but has its own seating space.
Diplomat Bar
Located in Conrad Hotel. This place attracts even the diplomats from the America Embassy across the street, so it must be good.
Coyote Bar and Grill
Nearest Train: BTS Skytrain: Phrom Phong station
The staff here wear denim and cowboy hats. Must-trys are their Black Forest and Apple Pie. Ladies' Nights are Thurdays with free margaritas from 6p-8p.
The Bamboo Bar
Features daily performances by jazz bands and international jazz singer. I head this is a good hangout to simply unwind wiht a glass of drink.
Face Bar
Interesting interior with wooden furniture and Chinese antiques.

This spot dates back to the 1970's and is a great place to go in the wee hours of the night for a retro experience.
Huntsman Pub
Nearest train station: Nana
Besides the usual range of alcohol, I hear the Shepherd's Pie here is worth a try.
