Bintan
In the course of finding out more about Bintan, the amount of info (on and offline) I could get my hands on was probably a good indication of the spotlight given to this Indonesian island: minimal. In fact, my local librabry had zero guide books on Bintan!
So with this in mind, I am even more adamant to showcase this island of tropical forests and beautiful white beaches. Even a friend who's been there 5 years ago still raves about it!
For a place just 40km of Singapore, Bintan is definitely within my 'do-able' range :-)
