Hong Kong

Lay hoe ma?
My last visit to Hong Kong was about 20 years back, and my memories of it are eating at the Chinese Floating Restaurant and visiting the Ocean Park. While those still remain as Hong Kong highlights, I'm sure this vibrant city has evolved over the last two decades, with even more night spots, 5-star hotels and shopping centers flourishing everywhere.

Hong Kong Aberdeen

Aberdeen is largest satellite town in Hong Kong city. This is a vibrant waterfront harbour resort, where you get to see modern and traditional Hong Kong in the same scene.  A highlight of Aberdeen is its floating restaurants.

What to see at Aberdeen

Floating Restaurants

Aberdeen is famous for its many floating restaurants (old junk boats anchored at the harbour) serving yummy seafood. Well known one are the 'Jumbo Floating Restaurant' and 'Tai Bak Seafood Boat' .

Jumbo Kingdom

More food! Jumbo Kingdom in Aberdeen is a restaurant famous for its arresting design and decorative lights. The place looks like an imperial palace in ancient China. But more than that, the cuisine here is so good many international celebs have dined here.

Traditional Fishing Life in Aberdeen

Come and see fisherman going about their daily fishing activities using sampans.  This is a traditional side of Hong Kong which few city dwellers get to see.

Location of Aberdeen

Located in the Southern District of Hong Kong island.
