Lay hoe ma?
My last visit to Hong Kong was about 20 years back, and my memories of it are eating at the Chinese Floating Restaurant and visiting the Ocean Park. While those still remain as Hong Kong highlights, I'm sure this vibrant city has evolved over the last two decades, with even more night spots, 5-star hotels and shopping centers flourishing everywhere.

Hong Kong Useful Phrases

Good news is that most people in Hong Kong speak English or will understand what you are saying.
 
Not so good news is that Cantonese is a tonal language with 8 different intonations …so you may have to repeat what you are saying.
 
But why not pick up some Cantonese phrases and maybe you may get a lower price on a bargain?
