Tailors and Custom-Made Shoes in Phnom Penh

Most silk and fashion boutiques around town will also custom-make your clothes, be it Asian or Western style.

Oh, but be forewarned ... most Cambodian tailors may not be as accustomed to foreign clients as those in Bangkok. Make sure you explain clearly and PATIENTLY what you want.

Good news is that most of them can duplicate almost anything.

You can find men’s tailors on Monivong, near Kampuchea Krom. Or on Sihanouk between Monivong and Norodom.

One recommended shop is Independent Tailor near St 59 on Sihanouk Blvd.

Go to Russian Market (Phsar Toul Thom Pong) and Olympic Market for a wide range of fabrics like silks, linens, rayon, etc. It’s better to buy the fabric you want and then bring it to the tailor.

Custom-Made Shoes

Wow! This I gotta try when in Phnom Penh. Dara Shoes (#10, St. 166) and Beautiful Shoes (#138, St 143) are popular and well-known among expats. Feel free to flip through their catalogues or bring a pair to be duplicated.
