The Cambodian orphanage is home to more than 100 orphans under the age of 15. Prior to being admitted to the orphanage, many of these orphans were scrawny. And many had to scavenge among the trash looking for anything that’s worth some money, to exchange for food.
This orphanage is almost like a sanctuary. It gives the children a good environment to grow up in. The orphanage believes that the children deserve a happy childhood.

Activities during this volunteer travel
Long term volunteers may have opportunities to work with the children. Volunteers may teach conversational English, science, geography, computer, arts, crafts etc.
Skilled volunteers may help in setting up a pig farm or a fish farm.
Community outreach projects are also available to volunteer groups. Groups may be involved in constructing wells, solar ovens, walkways, compost toilets or additional water collection system for the orphanage. Other volunteer project include distributing soap or rice to poor villagers.
Suitable for
