About this volunteer tour project
TakeMeToAsia is organising a special group programme to an orphanage in Chiang Mai this July.
There are organised volunteering programmes for the group over a period of 6 days in July 09.

This is especially interesting and suitable for people who prefer to be volunteering as a group and not alone.
Activities while volunteering abroad
Volunteers can teach English, help decorate the orphanage with wall painting or help make handicrafts for fund raising. Volunteers can also help the orphange by making fish farming nets or giving a helping hand at the organic vegetable farm.
About the orphanage
The orphanage in Chiang Mai houses more than 80 youths and children. Some children come from family devastated by drug addiction or AIDS. The orphanage also provides shelter for girls who would otherwise be lured into prostitution
